Introduction to Worksoft Certify Automation

The Introduction to Worksoft Certify Automation course was designed to provide a basic understanding of the Worksoft Certify solution. Worksoft Certify is the industry’s top-ranked solution for automated business process testing. 

Automate the functional testing of mission-critical processes end-to-end across complex application landscapes, including web technologies, mobile apps, big data, hybrid cloud environments, and dozens of packaged enterprise applications.

This course is divided into the following lessons:

  • Lesson 1 — Introduction to the Worksoft Platform introduces the Worksoft Platform and explains Worksoft’s Business Process Testing methodology; the Certify Life Cycle approach; the Business Process Testing Components; and how Capture 2.0 plays an important role in Business Process Discovery.
  • Lesson 2 — Define Business Processes explains Business Process Discovery, how to set up a consistent environment by configuring your desktop and browser (Internet Explorer and/or Google Chrome), and how to configure and use Capture 2.0.
  • Lesson 3 — Certify Navigation and Worksoft Guidelines discusses how to access and navigate Certify.
  • Lesson 4 — Develop Functional and Integrated Processes explains the difference between functional and integrated processes; how to import captured .xml files into Certify; the parts of a process step; how to add steps to a process; and how to use LiveTouch to add steps to processes.
  • Lesson 5 — Use Data to Execute Processes explains how to manage data within Certify, including how to create and use: variables, layouts, recordsets, and recordset filters.
  • Lesson 6 — Configure Execution and View Results discusses more advanced execution techniques, as well as, how to view execution results in the Results Viewer and how to generate and view execution results in either detail or summary reports.
  • Lesson 7 — Certify System Objects and Actions is a reference chapter of Certify system objects and their associated actions.
  • Lesson 8 — Develop Advanced Processes covers creating advanced processes that can interpret and react to different testing situations.
  • Lesson 9 — Resources identifies useful resources for working with Worksoft Certify and contacting Worksoft.
